Prostate cancer is the most common cancer found in men in the UK. But the earlier it is found, the better and more successful the treatments and outcomes will be. It can affect any man. One hears about personalities such as Chris Hoy and Jeremy Clarkson who have shared their experiences publicly. Symptoms are not evident in the early stages, but if you have any concerns or if you have a history of prostate cancer in your family, then GET YOURSELF TESTED. This is as simple as requesting your GP to take a blood sample to ascertain your prostate specific antigen (PSA) level.
