I currently have two illustrated talks which I am happy to deliver:

1. A talk about my published book, "REDDITCH - From the Chip Shop to the Batchley". This tells the story of my childhood growing up in the Midlands at a time when Towns and cities up and down the country were striving to repair, re-invent and rebuild after the effects of World War II. The talk will be of interest to those who grew up during that time, those who have an interest in social history of that era as well as individuals who are studying 20th century history at school, college or university. Duration 1 hour.

"I finished your book last week, couldn’t put it down as I loved it. Jolted lots of memories for me. Thank you Tony I thoroughly enjoyed your talk". Debbie Cooper

2. A talk about my forthcoming book, "The Bomber and the Weathervane". This is an informative yet emotional true story of how an old, beaten-up weathervane, fashioned in the shape of a World War II Lancaster bomber links to such a bomber that was shot down in January 1944 over Berlin with all souls lost and how that weathervane was dedicated, with the support of the International Bomber Control Centre in Lincoln, as a formal war memorial. The talk is a must-attend for anyone with an interest in WWII, particularly those interested in RAF Bomber Command operations., family descendants of those who took part in those missions, and those engaged in educational war studies.
Duration 1 hour 15 minutes.

"Tony's illustrated lecture was very poignant and a reminder of some of the very personal stories of these young men and their families". Steve Wigley
"A well-presented account of a very emotive subject. It was a pleasure to be there". Steve Baldwin
"Tony really did the story justice". Di Ablewhite
