22nd April - Saying Goodbye to a Wonderful Friend

A sad day yesterday as we said goodbye to Di Thomas, a good friend and security colleague for the last 30 years. We worked together in the UK Defence Industry as well as serving together on the Boards of the Guild of Security Controllers, later becoming the Defence Industry Security Association, and The Security Institute. Always one to go the extra mile to help, innovate and deliver, Di was always one who would stand up for what was right. Good or bad, you knew exactly where you stood with her - and that was a good thing. We will miss her enormously.
